Love is a beautiful thing, and everyone craves love. Why? Because love is God and without love we cannot say we are born of Him. No matter who you are, we are all in need of being loved. We consider the actions of some and ask, “why would anyone do that?” Two reasons. We are either craving love or trying to provide love in return. I will be honest here. Sometimes it’s hard to love others, especially when their every move is to harm us in some way either by words or actions. However, when real love comes on the scene, everything changes. I am going to share my own personal story here. I thought I knew what love was because every once and a while a man would buy me flowers or provide me with a compliment. I found out that the compliment wasn’t for me, but for him to be able to stay for personal gain. However, the light bulb finally came on and the journey toward freedom began. In that journey, I found Mr. Edward Thomas Jr. who makes my life so easy. He is thoughtful even when I am not. He buys me flowers and provides me with compliments, not for his gain but because he understands the meaning of love. I am moody and I am working on my mood swings, but he still loves me. I work a lot and at times have trouble turning my brain towards fun and he provides me with space and continues to love me. I need to plan everything, and he is spontaneous and likes to do things on a whim but allows me to say no as I plan, and he keeps right on loving me. I guess you can say love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. I appreciate Edward and my Heavenly Father for loving me in all my imperfections. Love never fails!
