What’s In Your House

This thought may have never crossed your mind to know that God has prepared your earthly physical temple with everything you need to be sustained while you are in the Earth. The problem is we allow so many people to pour into our lives their own ideas and beliefs which upsets the rhythm of who we are and what we have been purposed to do. In II Kings 4 there is the account of the woman who had lost her husband to death. She was left with anguish that her sons would now be taken into slavery to pay the debt left by her husband. But she neglected what she had in the house to sustain her and keep her family intact. Some of us have so much “junk” in our houses that we miss the obvious. Begin to empty out the junk. Start afresh. Start anew. Go in from the world and shut the door to the outside voices. Hear what the Holy Spirit is saying because everything you need is already in the house. It’s in YOUR HOUSE!

1Now a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD; and the creditor has come to take my two children to be his slaves.” 2Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” II Kings 4:1-2
