It’s more like what’s on your menu. Your appetite says a lot about your desires in life. By appetite, I mean the things you engage in regularly. The meals you consume will nourish your physical and spiritual being. Take the time and put as much spiritual food as possible on your dinner plate. That way you will not be left starving of emotional and Spiritual hunger from all the “junk food” the world has to offer. The world constantly feeds our appetite without us even realizing we are eating from its’ spoon. When people criticize us and we are unable to process their own insecurities, we are left with a bad taste in our mouths from the poorly prepared dinner we were just served at the hand of another person who attempts to make us look bad so they can shine. Don’t let the world determine what’s for dinner for you. You choose what’s on the menu by serving up love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
So, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. I Corinthians 10:31
