We are Not Alone

This world has billions of people in it and yet we sometimes feel so alone. It sometimes feels like it is just us and our shadow. The Lord clearly lets us know throughout the Bible that this is not the case. God has ALWAYS provided people who are destined to be in our paths to guide us and be a friend to us in the moments we feel alone. Jesus himself was one of those people who was sent to bring comfort to a dying and lonely world. Today I plead with you to grab hold of the truth that even though some walk out of our lives, others with good intentions will enter. The leading of the Holy Spirit will send them to you to provide love and support in the times of loneliness. Loneliness can bring so many realms of emotions that we may have a difficult time recognizing the person or persons God is sending. It is important to note that even though we feel this sense of loneliness and despair that we wait for the leading of the Holy Spirit to guide us because during these times He is bringing us comfort. He is walking with us and we are NEVER alone.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalms 23:4 ESV
