But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble. James 4:6 ESV
The definition of grace according to Webster is position to or an act or instance of kindness, courtesy, or clemency. This means we are to show compassion for others. Sometimes this is easier said than done. In the Earth where we live, we encounter people everyday that will be a testament to our attempt to walking in Grace. It really isn’t that difficult to walk in grace when we remember how our Heavenly Father provides grace for us daily. We just need to remember that we are not perfect, and neither are those we encounter. Engage in prayer daily for those you will meet before you leave home each day, so that when you meet them you are already prepared to be kind. Ask God to give you a heart like His so you can love others who use you or don’t like you. We cannot do anything about how others feel about us, but we can control how we react to them not liking us. I encounter people daily who test my patience and my ability to show them love. What I am most grateful for is that God has given me a heart of flesh that can see beyond the person I see in the natural to see the person on the spiritual level. This is what helps me “WALK IN GRACE.”
