Turning Around Your Losses

We have all experienced loss. Sometimes these losses are sudden and traumatic and other times they are necessary for us to move beyond the mundane. Loss that is painful may be seen in Job’s life as he loss all his family and belongings. Loss of jobs may mean that God is trying to move you to something better, but you would never move on your own. I know this seems harsh, but God has had to do this to me a couple of times because I did not belong in that role anymore. Though I have never been a Job, I have suffered loss and so have you. All of us have loss something that is of value to us. The question is how we use these losses for His Glory. We do this by telling our stories and we engage with others who have been where we are or help those who are currently experiencing loss. God’s grace is sufficient. I invite you to turn around your loss by helping others. Make it your purpose to bring healing to others. Tell your story!

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23 NIV
