Trusting Him!

And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10 ESV

Trusting him. That one seems to be hard, but it's merely letting go. Letting go of what we think things should be like. Letting go of how we think things should go. Letting go of all our inhibitions and just trusting God. Learning to lean on him and trust him and say that Lord, I have no ability, but everything is in you. I've no clue how I'm going to do things. I have no idea how I should approach life, so I need to learn to trust your voice, and when you say move, when you say do things, I need to trust that your voice is leading me to do those things. So I've got to do that by learning that your ways are higher than my ways and your thoughts are higher than my thoughts. Even when it seems foolish to me, I still have to trust you because trusting you means that I don't depend on myself I rely on you to make things work for me and to work things out for my good, so we have to be able to bring God to a place where he's the priority. Therefore, we trust him to have our best interests at heart. Just trusting Him is hard at first, but we have to condition ourselves, and sometimes it just means looking back on the times that he's brought you through and knowing that those times were extraordinary, and so we trust him because of that. And as we move forward, we know that we have total trust in God and everything that he's doing for us.
