Will we live here in our Earthly homes forever and continue this same path of sleeping, eating, working, and repeating the same mundane life day after day? God forbid. Many of us go about life with a “have to” attitude. I would agree that there are some things we must do in this life, but I would disagree that many of us are doing what we have been called to do in this life. We are doing life, but we are not enjoying life. That is because our focus is off. We are spending too much time focusing on the here and now when we should be asking God “what would You have me to do with my life that brings you Glory and Honor?” I have thoroughly enjoyed my career choices and have been able to create an environment where change happens daily for myself and others. My career choice was truly ministry. I have been able to focus on things above for the most part and this principle has led me to thrive in the Earth. Life has all kinds of curve balls and difficulties and most of these things we are unable to control. Yet when we place our focus on the One who knows all things, then these “curve balls and difficulties” often don’t seem so big. We must place our focus on the One who is BIGGER! Bigger than any problem. Bigger than any situation. Bigger than any trial we will ever face.
