Living the Good Life

What is the “good life” you may ask? Many of us have all kinds of definitions and thoughts about what it means to live the good life. I guarantee what immediately comes to mind are material things like money, friends, houses, and cars. While all these things are good to have, it is not necessarily the good life. Living in His presence is the good life. Obeying His commands is the good life. In His presence is “fullness of joy.” In His presence is where you find all the things that not only makes a good life, but a great life. I know people who have lots of money and the finest of clothes, yet they are as miserable as ever. How is it that we can have money and be miserable? The real issue is money truly does not buy happiness. Happiness and Joy is found in Jesus alone. A true relationship brings all the things needed to “live the good life.” Discover Him today and enjoy pleasures evermore. Not just because you want things, but because you want Him. The things are a part of the package.

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11 ESV
