Casting Your Burdens

Why do we like to walk around complaining about our heavy loads? Why is there always something weighing us down? The answer to both questions is because we haven’t learned to “cast” yet. Our Father says bring all your burdens to Him for He cares for you. The word cast means to throw forcefully! Getting rid of all the junk we are carrying around with intention knowing that it is too much for us. We are too weak to be able to manage all the problems that come at us daily or in this lifetime. We must learn to be conscience enough that when things are thrown at us, we immediately cast our burdens so they don’t become more than we can carry. We have a place to cast our burdens as He promises to sustain us and not allow His righteous to be moved. We are His righteousness through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 ESV
