Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Psalm 37:7 ESV
One of the hardest things for us to do is sit still in the presence of God. We always feel like we need to be saying something. We feel like we need to be offering up some type of prayer or asking God for something either on our behalf or interceding for someone else. There are times when we need to do neither. It's tough for a lot of us to sit still in His presence and listen. I'm going to tell you that it's uncomfortable to do that at first, but if you sit there for just a few minutes, and it may be 20 minutes before God speaks, or it may be Five minutes before he starts to speak, but what you don't want to do is interrupt Him speaking. So, find a tranquil spot, get paper and pen, and be very still there. He's looking for you to enter into that space so that the two of you can commune together. He's going to begin to show us some things that will happen in the Earth, and we need to prepare ourselves that some things might frighten us. Some things he's going to allow us to talk about and other things he's not going to allow you to share at all, but he wants us to be very, very still in his presence.
