A Vision Becomes Reality

Let me share a story with you. One day I was interviewing for a job and before I went to the final interview, I said to God these words “if I could get just ten cents more an hour Father, I can make it.” The first mistake I made was not realizing how big my God was and the second was only asking for ten cents. I saw myself working this job because I desired it and I knew I needed more money to care for myself and my children. Well guess what? At the end of the interview, the manager who was interviewing me said, “wait, I think I can get you ten cents more and hour” just out of the blue. I never asked for more from her only from God. We all have visions and how we want our lives to be, but we must take those visions from our head and heart and bring them to pass. I know I can trust God as the supplier of my visions and dreams. I know He is the author of mine and yours and all that is required is faith. One single bit of unbelief in God’s Word is spiritually unhealthy. What’s your vision? Believe God and watch it become a reality as He shows you how to walk it out in the days to come.

For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. Habakkuk 2:3 NIV
